Code review

Lyzentra can review any pull request in a connected repository, not just its own. It looks for bugs, security problems, missing error handling, missing tests and anything that breaks your project rules, and it comments on the lines concerned. It never approves or blocks a merge.

Asking for a review

Comment on the pull request:

/agent review

Or, in the app, open Projects, enter the pull request number under the project and click AI review.

To review every new pull request automatically, turn on Review every new pull request for the project. Drafts are skipped until they're marked ready.

The review shows up on the pull request within a few minutes, and as an AI review job under Activity. After you push more commits, comment /agent review again for a fresh review.

Reading a review

Each finding is marked as one of:

  • Important: a bug, a security problem or a broken project rule. Worth fixing before merging.
  • Suggestion: something that would make the code better.
  • Nit: minor.

Findings that point at a line in the diff are posted as line comments; the rest are listed in the review summary.

Lyzentra also reviews its own changes before they're published. That review is on the run page and in the pull request description.
